Happy Birthday America–Let Freedom Ring for All

As a proud and grateful citizen of the United States of America, I feel freedom. Freedom to move about as I wish, to read what I wish, eat what I like and say what I feel in my heart. That freedom is not available equally to all citizens of our beautiful country. And there are some who say and act out what they feel in their heart without regard for the feelings of others. Some few of these do so out of frustration. They’ve reached a critical point. I may not always like their actions or agree with what they say, but we are told that, in this country, citizens have a right to freedom of speech. So be it–whether I like it or not, because it’s not up to me to edit.

Today I started a collection of photos on Unsplash.com. I will continue to add photos that express to me what I hope so deeply that America can be (and is at times or in some communities and within a few groups already). I will continue to add photos as one would pray. This collection will be my deepest hope and most fervent prayer. I hope you’ll follow along.
